iTunes 10 Icon, Take 2

Yesterday I released my iTunes 10 icon replacement. Although I’ve only spent one day with it I can already see some things I want to do differently. I think the concept can be boiled down to just one button: play/pause. The function is obvious, and if presented in the similar shape as the previous icon I think works just as well.

So here’s the all new, simplified iTunes 10 icon replacement. I’ve optimized it for very small sizes this time as well so it won’t look blurry in Finder.

Here’s the new icon sitting in the dock:

And here’s the small 16x16 optimized one you’ll see in Finder:
